We are looking to appoint a Community Psychiatric Nurse.
You will work within a small team of dedicated to caring for older adults within the community. The primary responsibility of this role will be to oversee the care of a case load of patients who are referred from within and outside of the service and have either a functional of organic diagnosis. You will be required to undertake a minimum of 5 hours face to face contact on a daily basis with patients/relatives and carers to ensure that appropriate packages of care are devised and provided to individuals residing in the local community. In addition the post holder will be required to undertake routine testing of the patients, deliver and monitor responses to medication and administer IM injections where necessary.
