THE OPPORTUNITY:
Deputy Nurse Manager - RGN, RMN or RNLD – Rochdale

THE BACKGROUND:
At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with a private healthcare organisation, specialising in high quality care within complex nursing services across the UK. We have an available opportunity for a Nurse Manager (RGN, RNLD or RMN), to work as Deputy within a 20 bed, specialist nursing service for adults with complex needs, including brain injury, spinal injury, mental health and neuro-disabilities.  The service is located in Rochdale.


THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Clinical Nurse Manager / Deputy, you will play a key part in the daily running of the Specialist Care Centre, working closely with the Registered Manager, ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently and that the care provided is of the highest quality.  There will, of course, be times when you have to roll up your sleeves and deliver hands-on nursing and personal care but that’s the nature of the job, and it keeps your skills up to date.  You will also be involved in;
  • Managing the clinical and care teams
  • Carrying out pre-admission assessments
  • Conducting supervisions and appraisals
  • Auditing, reviewing and updating care plans and medication records
  • Managing staffing levels, compiling rotas etc.
  • Assisting with staff training and development
THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • You will be a Registered Nurse – RGN, RMN or RNLD Qualified
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Desirable - Experience working in a supervisory role
  • Well organised, able to make decisions and work on your own initiative whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
 
THE REWARDS:
As Clinical Nurse Manager / Deputy, the role is 40 hours a week, working 2 x 12 hour shifts on the floor, and 2 supernumery days from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.  The salary is competitive, circa £35,000 - £36,000.
