Job Description

(Trainee) Advanced Nurse Practitioner Breast care

Grade 7 while in training 8a if/once qualified

At Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust we strive to provide a first class safe, personal and effective service to all our patients. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational motivated nurse practitioner to join our breast care team based at the Nightingale Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital .

The successful candidate will work on adailybasis between the wards, out patients and theatres. Working alongside the other Advanced Nurse practitioners ,specialist nurses and the medical team. You will require advanced autonomous clinical skills inassessment , treatment and decision making in order to improve standards of care supporting both nursing and junior medicalcolleagues.

Training will be provided by the University of Bolton , if not already qualified

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £29.50(standard disclosure) or £47.50 (enhanced disclosure) Which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
