Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Darlington CAMHS for a registered mental health professional to join a busy Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team, to provide evidence based care and treatment within a recovery framework for young people with mental health difficulties across the Darlington area.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated and demonstrate a commitment to on-going personal and professional development, withexperience in assessments and delivery of care forchildren and young people within a community setting, andwill have access to high quality supervision within the team and work closely with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to provide care coordination responsibilities for a defined caseload.

The post requires good IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and autonomously as well as contributing to the MDT.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
