Our physical healthcare services include intermediate care services in Hammersmith & Fulham as part of the Community Independence Service partnership.
Our national, specialist and forensic services include:
- Medium secure services on the St Bernard's Hospital site in Ealing
- Services for people with complex and severe personality disorder at the Cassel Hospital in Richmond
- High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, ambitious, and motivated CAMH Clinical Nurse Specialist to play a part in the exciting transformation of the West London CAMHS Neuro-developmental Service. You will be joining a team who are passionate about providing a positive experience of CAMH Services to children and young people who present with complex needs.
The Hounslow CAMHS Neuro-developmental Service is delivered by a well-established multidisciplinary team and the successful applicant will be based Hounslow CAMHS, 1 Armstrong Way, Southall UB2 4SA.
The primary focus of the role will be the assessment, diagnosis and support of children with neuro-developmental conditions (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Tic disorders) and co-morbid mental health problems. Non-Medical Prescribing responsibilities are also part of this role and training as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber will be supported, as well as training in standardised assessment tools such ADI-r and ADOS.
The post holder will also be part of the thriving 3-borough CAMHS Nursing Team and they will be offered high quality and consistent supervision from within the service. In addition, good opportunities for continuing professional development will be offered, alongside other supports.
We are looking for a CAMH Clinical Nurse Specialist who is able to demonstrate a commitment to creative engagement with a culturally diverse population of young people, show initiative, is a team player and can communicate ideas clearly to both professionals and young people alike. They will also need to be flexible and have the necessary skills and experience to provide high quality care that is both evidence based and client focussed.
The above post is offered on a permanent full time basis, however part-time applicants may be considered.
We would like to invite applications from CAMH Clinical Nurse Specialists who have experience working in a CAMH Services and can demonstrate knowledge, competence and an interest in working with children who present with neuro-developmental conditions. (Experience working in a CAMH Service is an essential criterion for the post and applicants who do not have this experience will not be shortlisted).
