Associate Director of Nursing – Children and Young People

Band 8c - 8d pending on experience

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced nursing leader to join our team at the Royal London Children’s Hospital.

As part of the Divisional Leadership team along with the Divisional Director and Divisional Manager, you will be instrumental in moving the Royal London Children’s Hospital from a ‘Good’ to an ‘Outstanding’ place to be treated. In this journey we intend that we build on our strengths and also become an outstanding place to work.

This is an exciting leadership role in a complex and developing area of the where you will be responsible for leading the nursing teams across the Children’s Services including acute, specialty wards, Neonatal and Paediatric Critical Care to deliver evidence based standards and to improve the care and experience of our patients and their families.

Your ability to envision future models of nursing care, and then to engage and lead nursing teams to deliver change, will be vital.

You will bring expertise of developing high performing wards which support optimal patient pathways; and be confident to challenge the status quo while building excellent working relationships that quickly enable you to become a trusted and credible leader across all staff groups.
