Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Deliver an effective and efficient therapy assistance service to inpatients under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.</li><li>Assist with the safe transfer and mobilisation of patients to and from therapy sessions.</li><li>Prepare and maintain treatment areas, including gym and rehabilitation spaces, ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use.</li><li>Support therapists during assessments by assisting with patient movement, positioning, and stabilisation.</li><li>Assist with treatment interventions, particularly where two or more therapists are required.</li><li>Carry out prescribed exercise programmes with patients and accurately document all interventions and progress.</li><li>Support patients with mobility, passive range of motion, and assisted movement exercises.</li><li>Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to patient progress monitoring.</li><li>Monitor, maintain, and report on therapy equipment and consumables.</li></ul>Essential Requirements:<ul><li>Relevant third-level qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Post-Injury Therapy, or a related discipline.</li><li>1-2 years experience in a similar therapy support role.</li><li>CORU registration or currently in the process of obtaining registration (desirable).</li><li>A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, patient safety, and infection prevention and control.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to documentation and detail.</li></ul>How to ApplyFor further details or to apply, please contact Charlene Cooke at Excel Recruitment on or 089 945 5139.EXCLCHAR
