What we are offering:

North and East London has some of the most dynamic and talented cardiovascular experts nationally and internationally. Clinicians from Barts Health NHS Trust, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) and further afield have worked together to create a single specialist centre for cardiovascular disease to cover all our local communities. Our brand new state of the art cardiovascular centre – Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital opened in early 2015. The new service allows us to bring together our existing unique experience and research activity. We are working towards increasing our understanding of and ability to address the root causes of cardiovascular diseases by growing the number of patients who get the chance to take part in clinical trials and research.

The Inherited Cardiac Conditions Unit at Barts Heart Centre is one of the largest in the world with more than 10,000 patients-events/year. We offer all forms of invasive and non-invasive diagnostics and the full spectrum of therapies, including the largest programme of LVOT obstruction management in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the UK and a continuously expanding inflammatory cardiomyopathy service. Our close relationship to the Queen Mary University London and the University College London creates the ideal environment for current and future research programmes.

Your expertise, your experience and your vision will be our building blocks to success. By becoming part of the team you can work with us sharing your unique talents and strengths.
