We have an opportunity for a Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our large Acute Children’s Therapy team, based at The Royal London Hospital.

The post has a large clinical component alongside leadership to the occupational therapists within the team. The successful post holder will be responsible for the delivery of excellent care by the team as well as carrying their own caseload.

Applicants should have relevant post graduate clinical experience and have HCPC registration. You will be required to work closely with the Plastic Surgery team, Orthopaedics, and children with trauma and acquired brain injury. This will include being part of the Botulinum Toxin upper limb service. You will see both in-patients and out-patients and will be expected to lead and contribute to service improvement initiatives. Active participation in continuous professional development is fully supported.

Excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritise a caseload of complex patients is essential. Supervisory skills are essential for clinical support, direction and development of less experienced staff, rotational staff and students. You must be able to demonstrate sound clinical skills and be an effective team player within an integrated service.
