This is a new post arising to supplement the senior Oral Medicine Team at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust which is made up of two of London's best-known teaching hospitals.
The Department of Oral Medicine is seeking a new full-time Locum Consultant to join a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward-thinking team. The department is currently involved in many exciting initiatives and is looking for an individual with experience in managing complex oral mucosal problems alongside quality improvement and teaching skills to complement the current team and help keep the service in the forefront of clinical and academic excellence.
The Department offers a wide range of services to patients with oral mucosal conditions, orofacial pain and oral manifestations of systemic diseases. The new consultant will help manage and develop these services across both Guy's Hospital and St Thomas' hospital sites. The post-holder will undertake general outpatient sessions along with supporting the well-established inter specialty oral medicine multi-disciplinary clinics.

As a result, any offer of employment to a consultant post will be subject to you agreeing to work a new more flexible pattern of working in the future if required and in accordance with the provisions of the new Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust consultant contract.
