Would you like to develop your managerial and support skills alongside growth of your clinical ability? If so, come and join the combined Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Services at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. We are looking for someone with strong clinical and team working skills, who has a positive and resilient outlook. We will provide you with excellent managerial and senior clinical support.
The rotations include:
Stroke Rehabilitation Service
Community Stroke service
Acute Older Peoples Services with Day Hospital
Acute Older Peoples Services
ITU with Surgery
HDU with Surgery
Amputee Rehabilitation with Surgery
Acute Medicine with Palliative Care
Acute Medicine with Cardiac Rehabilitation
Emergency Therapy Team which includes Accident & Emergency, and Acute Assessment Unit
You will be supported in your continuing professional development by the Trust’s Appraisal system with a personal development plan and in-service training programme.
The department runs a seven day service between the hours of 8:00 and 18:00 with staff working a 37.5 hour week and a 7.5 hour day. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the emergency respiratory on-call rota.
Whipps Cross is a busy District General Hospital in North East London, with easy access to central London, and the M25 and M11 motorways.
