The Barts Heart Centre Cardiac Imaging department is a friendly, hard-working, ambitious, and highly skilled team. The service is expanding and we are looking to recruit Radiographers interested in pursuing a career in cardiovascular imaging for a 12 month fixed term Maternity cover post.
This is an opportunity to become an expert in the heart and its circulation, and to develop specialist knowledge and skills whilst working in Europe’s biggest cardiovascular centre. It’s a fast paced and exciting role, being a key member of the multidisciplinary team offering life-changing and often life-saving treatment to patients from around London and beyond.
As a Band 5 Radiographer you would be based in the Cardiac Cath Labs, providing imaging for a wide range of interventional, electrophysiological, and structural heart procedures. The equipment and facilities at BHC is new and state of the art, and includes rotational CT enabled labs and a bi-plane hybrid. Full training will be provided, so no prior specialist cardiac experience is required.
