Clinical Fellow in Dermatology (With an Interest in Paediatric Dermatology & Genodermatoses)
Nodal Point 4 - £47,132 p.a excl. of LZ
Fixed Term - 12 months
Full Time - 40 hours per week
Applications are invited for this fixed term 1-year appointment, due to commence in August 2019 or sooner if agreed. The appointment is suitable for a Dermatologist seeking Specialist Training in Genodermatoses and Paediatric Dermatology. You will be part of a consultant-led multidisciplinary team, and will receive excellent training. You will be involved in looking after general paediatric patients and patients with genetic skin disease. St John's provides a comprehensive general dermatology service, as well as a wide range of multi-disciplinary specialist services. Its primary role is the delivery of excellence in clinical service, education and training, research and development in Dermatology. These functions are undertaken in both clinical and academic settings. On the academic side the Institute offers two postgraduate degrees in Dermatology and makes an important contribution to the Biomedical School as part of the Division of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, GKT School of Medicine, King's College London. GSTT and KCL provide one of only five Biomedical Research Centres in the UK and cutaneous medicine is the only BRC funded dermatology theme in the UK. As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends.
