The Intensive Support Team in South Gloucestershire are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist who shares their vision for improved mental health care.
The Intensive Support team is based at Kingswood Civic Centre. The team operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week, providing support to service users throughout this time. Referral sources are mainly via Social Services, Emergency Department (A & E), Police and the other South Glos mental health teams.
The post-holder will provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team and specialist clinical expertise in assessment and treatment of people with complex mental health problems. This post is supported by a full time specialty doctor and a CT2 doctor is usually allocated to the post.
