Radiology Services is seeking to appoint a full-time (10 PA) locum consultant specialising in paediatric imaging. The post if for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will join the existing enthusiastic team of 6 paediatric radiologists based at Evelina London Children's Hospital (ELCH). The candidate will be expected to perform paediatric ultrasound and fluoroscopy, and to report plain film, MRI and CT studies. Contribution to the paediatric radiology on-call rota maybe required, depending on the candidate's skill set and needs of the department.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a first class team in active and progressive central London teaching hospital environment. In addition to supporting the established Paediatric diagnostic radiology service, the post holder will be expected to take an active interest in research and development and to participate in the teaching programs of the department.
You must be fully registered with the GMC/GDC and hold License to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

We regard this flexibility as essential if we are to continue to provide first class patient care in the future.
