We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for two experienced Psychologists to work with active serving military personnel. The role will involve providing psychotherapy, delivered in accordance with the standards set by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Referrals will be made via MDT discussions between Military Departments of Community Mental Health and the psychologists in post. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and working towards both service and individual targets
Candidates should have excellent interdisciplinary working skills and have significant experience in engaging with individuals suffering from complex mental health problems. You will be required to exercise a high degree of professional autonomy and critical judgement.
Experience of working with military personal would be advantageous.
