As a provider of care for people of all ages who have mental and/or community health needs we are dedicated to providing a high quality service, close to where people live and as much as possible tailored to an individual's needs.
The Psychological Therapy service; working alongside the Community Mental Health Services (CMHS), are keen to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Lead Psychological Therapist to work in the CMHT covering the Craven locality tosupport its work with service users and families. In particular the successful candidate will have experience of working with people with complex mental health problems, of working with individuals and groups, and working alongside colleagues from other disciplines in a multi-disciplinary team context.
Youwill be a professionally accredited Psychological Therapist (CBT, counselling, psychotherapies, and/or clinical psychology), with competency in utilising evidence based psychological approaches for working with service users with an array of psychological needs. The successful candidate will have experience of providing consultation, including assessment and formulation work to MDT colleagues, supporting their psychological skills practice.
The post holder will work within CMHS that cover the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven localities, which is a geographically, socio-economically and culturally diverse area, though this post will mainly work out of the Craven Centre, working alongside the Craven CMHT (our most rural patch, reaching into the Yorkshire dales).
