Applications are invited from HCPC registered Biomedical/Health Care Scientist for a substantive Band 6 (or 5) post within Immunology and Immunogenetics Department located at Southmead Hospital. This busy department provides a full autoimmune, allergy, specific protein, immunophenotyping and Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics service and is UKAS accredited. The post will rotate through all areas of Immunology and Immunogenetics. A minimum of 2 years previous post-registration experience preferably in Immunology or Immunogenetics is required for the Band 6 post however applicants with less experience will be considered for appointment at Band 5. There is an on call service in operation for HLA typing and cross matching for renal transplantation in which you will be required to participate.
