Band 2 House keeper Tayberry Ward
Barts Health has one of the largest older people’s services in the world and as such we are striving to provide the highest quality care ,older people can expect in a range of specialist environments including acute care for older people, orthogeriatrics and rehabilitation. We have invested substantially in our older people’s services ensuring that education and learning from our patients and their families drive improvement in care. Our practice has a strong emphasis on relationship-centred care, ensuring patients, families and all the multi-disciplinary team are empowered to achieve their goals.
Tayberry ward is a 26 bedded Orthogeriatric and Rehabilitation ward at Newham University Hospital. Our patients may be on the Hip Fracture pathway so we work closely with the Orthapaedic and Theatre teams as some of our patients have part of their pathway in these areas . we are hoping to further strengthen these relationships in the future. We are part of a dynamic acute to rehabilitation Older People’s care pathway, committed to a high quality and holistic care with an emphasis on working in partnership with older patients, their families and the multi-disciplinary teams.
To help us achieve this we are looking for a Band 2 house keeper with a passion for caring for older people and can work in a teams. We are looking for a motivated and committed individual who have an interest in the older people services , orthopaedics and general rehabilitation needs as well as acute medical needs.
