We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to support the Surgery & PICU directorate within Evelina London Children's Hospital. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, capable of providing exceptional business partnering support and able to explain complex financial information to both finance and non-finance staff in a meaningful way.
The successful individual will be confident in communicating with people at all levels in the organisation and across all professional disciplines. They will have a strong eye for detail to ensure information shared is accurate and complete, and excellent analytical skills to support their directorates in delivering challenging financial plans. In supporting a large and busy directorate, the successful individual will have strong time-management skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing the monthly finance reports and forecasts for the directorate, and presenting these within the directorate and to more senior staff. Also for analysing the impact of cost improvement schemes and supporting the identification of further savings opportunities and developing future financial plans.
We welcome applicants from an NHS background, but also those with suitable experience from other sectors and/or accountancy practice.
Applicants must be fully qualified accountants, registered with a recognised CCAB body, to be considered for this position.
