Job Description

Band 5 - Schools Service - fixed term for 11 months (full time) with view to extend at the end of this contract.

Are you looking to join a welcoming and dynamic service? Would you like to work with children aged 4-11 years? Would you like the stability of a small set of regular schools and the satisfaction of providing intervention that helps children to succeed?

You will provide input to a maximum of four local schools, offering support to those schools for the full school year and beyond. This allows you to get to know your caseload and develop links with school staff. You will have designated time for planning and supervision. You will be offering a mix of specialist level intervention, targeted level support, along with some universal training to your group of primary schools.

We provide group clinical supervision, individual line management, a programme of in house training and support; along with ad hoc support from experienced colleagues who will share your office base.

Our large, friendly, diverse and supportive SLT office is based at Mile End Hospital, conveniently located between Mile End and Stepney Green tube stations and serviced by a number of local buses. The schools you will work in are located in Tower Hamlets and are easily reached by walking, by bike or by public transport.
