The Clinical Neurophysiology department at Addenbrookes Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Clincal Physiologist (Neurophysiology) to join our friendly and expanding team. This post is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. Part time hours would be considered.

The Clinical Neurophysiology department consists of 5 consultant Neurophysiologists, 2 specialist registrars, 12 clinical physiologists and 3 administrators.

The department provides the following services;
  • Outpatient routine, sleep and ambulatory EEGs on adults and paediatrics
  • Inpatient portable EEGs on a huge range of wards and ages
  • Adult video EEG telemetry
  • Paediatric video EEG telemetry
  • Visual evoked potentials
  • Pre-operative/ diagnostic/prognostic somatosensory evoked potentials
  • Nerve conduction studies/EMG
  • Intraoperative monitoring

The successful candidate should be able to perform all forms of outpatient and inpatient EEGs independently and have experience in other modalities.

Candidates should have BSc Honours Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent e.g HND in MPPM or/and ECNE Part 1 with relevant experience and RCCP. Attendance at training days and meetings is encouraged.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £40.00. This fee will be deducted from your second month's salary.
