If you like to be busy and enjoy working in a laboratory environment then consider joining our team as a Medical Laboratory Assistant providing support to the scientists working across the department. The post holder will perform various laboratory procedures as required following departmental SOPs and, after full training, will perform routine laboratory tasks without supervision. The post holder will also be required to perform sample reception / clerking of specimens, sample retrieval and returning of results.
The post involves rotation around all the sections within HODS including immunophenotyping, cytogenetics and molecular laboratories.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy and customer service skills are key to this job role. You will join a team dedicated to providing a service at the cutting edge of diagnostic capability.
