The Procurement and Supply Chain Division is looking to recruit a full time Procure to Pay (P2P) Service Desk Team Leader. The postholder will undertake core service desk duties and the local leadership of 3 other personnel. It is a busy but rewarding role and you should have a good grasp of IT systems and an appreciation of excellent customer service to apply.
The postholder will have key working relationships with all members of the procurement, supply chain, finance and many clinical and management staff across UCLH. They will act as the first point of contact (in phone and email) in communication with colleagues, UCLH customers and suppliers.
The postholder will be responsible for escalating and troubleshooting issues to the Deputy Director of procurement & Supply Chain and will contribute to finding proactive solutions to routine and sometimes complex issues.
The postholder will also be responsible for workload management, training and the development of improvement ideas.
The post holder will need to have the ability to manage a busy and varied workload. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in the role.
