Job Title: CAMHS Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Lead (CAMHS Core professions such as CBT practitioner, clinical/ counselling psychologist, family systemic psychotherapist, CAMHS Mental Health nurse, CAMHS Occupational therapist, child psychotherapist or CAMHS social worker)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a CAMHS practitioner to act as Team Lead for two Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in Ealing. This is a great time to join a dynamic and rapidly growing new workforce in West London NHS Trust Children and Young People's Mental Health Services, which we are delighted to have gained significant new investment as a Trailblazer. The Mental Health Support Teams programme is a service transformation programme delivered by Health Education England and partners. Ealing has had Child Wellbeing Practitioners working in schools with great success. Hundreds of children and young people have accessed guided self- help and group work support, with very encouraging feedback and clinical outcomes. The MHSTs sit alongside, and have very positive relations with, Tier 2 CYP mental health services as well as good interface with our Tier 3 CAMHS colleagues. The community served is multi-ethnic and culturally diverse and we welcome applicants who are skilled at working with the richness and complexity of this multicultural context. You will be working in primary and secondary schools and based in Ealing Primary Centre as part of Ealing's well established health and wellbeing offer to children and young people.
We would like to hear from confident CAMHS professionals with a track record of providing quality evidenced based interventions to support young people's mental health. In addition, you will have significant experience of supervising clinicians, and be able to evidence operational leadership skills.
