The Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting trailblazer project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community in response to the government's Green Paper for Young People's Mental Health. Ealing has been successful in being one of the second wave of sites in the England to benefit from significant investment in this area.

If you are interested in partnership working (notably with schools) and want to help shape new models of evidence-based support to promote the emotional wellbeing of children and young people, this job could be for you!
We are looking for two Band 7 CAMHS practitioners to work in our Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in Ealing. The role will involve diverse interventions such as group work, training, and consulting to education colleagues, in addition to carrying out assessments and holding a caseload. This is a specialist mental health post but the successful applicant will be supported to maintain their professional registration and will have access to support/supervision from colleagues from within their discipline, if applicable.
The post holders will offer intensive supervision to a team of four Band 4 Trainee Education Wellbeing Practitioners and two Band 5 Child Wellbeing Practitioners, and will be expected to complete a CYPI-APT PGCert course in supervising low intensity interventions at University College London.
