Job Description

We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We provide a range inpatient and community services to 2m people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We also provide additional specialist services to other parts of Northern England.
We deliver our services by working in partnership with eight local authorities and clinical commissioning groups, a wide range of voluntary organisations, as well as service users, their carers and the public. The services are spread over a wide geographical area of around 3,600 square miles, which includes coastal, rural and industrial areas.

We are looking for a band 5 Registered Health Professional (Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist) to join the Ripon Integrated Community Team
The post will help develop your skills in a community setting, based in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. The team covers a rural area and therefore you will need to have access to your own vehicle. The team is welcoming and supportive and is led by a forward thinking and dynamic leadership team. We welcome applications from people who want to make a difference and embody recovery principles in their work with service users. This role involves assessment and treatment using evidence-based psychological interventions for people with severe and enduring mental health problems.
The successful applicant should have experience in conducting mental health assessments, including risk assessment and risk management plans. Care planning will also be an integral part of this role and an interest in physical health monitoring is preferential.
