You will take a leadership role in service development, provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff, and work collaboratively across clinic, home, school, and community settings.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Plan and manage a complex caseload, providing expert assessments and interventions.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff grade Occupational Therapists and students.&nbsp;</li><li>Take a lead role in service planning, innovation, and development within the occupational therapy discipline.&nbsp;</li><li>Delegate tasks appropriately and facilitate the professional development of junior staff members.&nbsp;</li><li>Work collaboratively with families and other agencies to ensure integrated, evidence-based care.&nbsp;</li><li>Represent the occupational therapy profession at internal and external meetings.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as a mandated person under the Children First National Guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience&nbsp;Essential Criteria:&nbsp;<ul><li>Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.&nbsp;</li></ul>AND&nbsp;<ul><li>Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience.&nbsp;</li></ul>AND&nbsp;<ul><li>Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.&nbsp;</li></ul>AND&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.&nbsp;</li><li>On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.&nbsp;</li></ul>AND&nbsp;<ul><li>Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.&nbsp;</li></ul>Desirable Criteria:&nbsp;<ul><li>Minimum 1 year post qualification experience of working with families and children with a range of physical disabilities/developmental delays.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience of working with children 0 – 18 years and their families.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a children’s disability service.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience of multi/interdisciplinary team working.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience of supervising students/therapy assistants.&nbsp;</li></ul>What’s on Offer&nbsp;<ul><li>Competitive Salary: A salary scale of €59,662 - €70,624 (pro rata).&nbsp;</li><li>Generous Annual Leave: 33 days annual leave (pro rata), with additional days for long service rec</li></ul>
