Healthcare Assistant

Excel Recruitment are currently hiring for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team for agency shift work. This position offers flexible working hours and opportunities in hospitals and nursing homes across Dublin and other parts of Leinster, giving you the freedom to choose from a variety of locations.

Responsibilities for this position:

• Deliver high standards of care while maintaining dignity of the patient.
• Carry out assigned tasks as directed.
• Support the staff in caring for patients.
• Assisting patients with daily personal care.
• Take positive direction while working alone or as part of a team

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 in healthcare (including Care Skills & Care of the Elderly)
• Valid certificates: CPR, Patient Moving, Infection Control, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, CPI/MAPA (completed within last 18 months)
• Minimum 2 written references
• Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards
• Must currently reside in Ireland with a valid work visa (if applicable)
