Orange Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist for a leading private hospital based in North Dublin.

Purpose of Job: To provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are the centre focus.

Provide leadership in the performance of diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular systems to patients to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the heart and blood vessel disorders and participate in the invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

Essential:

• Possess the BSc. (Hons) Clinical Measurement Science / Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• ECGs - Recording/Interpretation and highlighting abnormal findings.
• Transthoracic echocardiography - scanning & reporting independently to BSE/EACVI/ARDMS standard.
• Loop-recorder, pacemaker, ICD & Biventricular device-interrogation & follow-up, including home-monitoring & Heart Rhythm Ireland database experience.
• 24-hour Holter monitoring - Patient hook up and technical downloading/ analysis interpretation.
• 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring - Patient hook up and analysis of same.
• Event Recording - Patient hook up and analysis.

Desirable:

• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to include technical support for Angiograms & percutaneous Coronary Intervention and competence during emergency procedures.
• Tilt-Table testing.
