Fostering Social Worker

Kate Cowhig International Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Social Workers (Foster Care Services).

Roles available across Meath, Westmeath, Cavan, Leitrim, Ireland.

The purpose of this role is to provide support, supervision and training to foster carers and supported lodging carers, while also ensuring the delivery of a safe and effective service to foster carers and children placed within the service.

Essential Criteria:

·       Degree in Social Work validated in the Republic of Ireland

·       2 years’ experience in relevant field

·       Must be registered with CORU or eligibility to be registered

·       Must have valid Garda Clearance.

·       Must have a clean driver’s license and use of a car.

·       Excellent Leadership, Organizational and Communication skills.

·       Sound decision making ability.

·       To build and maintain excellent working relationships.

·       Expected to maintain professional standards of practice and to work in accordance with the company vision, values, procedures, and managerial guidance.

Salary: €48,500 - €69,500
