Job Description

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client, (a well know reputable Nursing Home group in Ireland) has an exciting opportunity for EU Passport Holders to take up a full-time position in their nursing home in North Co Dublin. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.

Interested candidates must have a

·      Diploma / bachelor’s degree in nursing

·      Minimum of 6 months post graduate nursing experience

·      Full NMBI registration or at the end of the registration process

·      Good level of English

·      Previous experience in elderly care or a nursing home setting is desirable.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

·      Commitment to providing high standards of care and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care to residents in accordance with best practice and regulatory standards.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and assess residents’ health status and respond to changes promptly.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, therapists, and care assistants.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records and care plans.
  • Support residents with daily activities and promote independence where possible.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and NMBI guidelines.
  • Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to healthcare assistants and junior staff.
