Social Care Worker

Location: Kildare, Ireland

Full-Time / Part-Time / Relief Positions Available

Who we are:

Attuned Programmes Ireland offers community, residential, and aftercare supports to people with, healthcare needs, supporting each person to live as independently and fully as possible. Our services emphasise dignity, respect, and personal growth.

What you'll do:

  • Provide person-centred support in a residential care setting, helping individuals to develop self-care & independent living skills
  • Assist with community integration: accompany to appointments, social/recreational activities, family visits
  • Support with daily tasks (e.g., cooking, laundry, cleaning), while promoting dignity and self-agency
  • Work as part of a team to plan, record, review and monitor care plans and individual outcomes
  • Uphold and comply with HIQA regulations & standards, best practice, safety, and safeguarding standards
  • Work is a in a residential centre with maximum of 4 residents
Who we're looking for:
  • Qualified Social Care Worker: minimum QQI Level 7 in Health Care / Social Care (or equivalent). Those with QQI Level 6 who are enrolled, and progressing are also welcome to apply.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to plan and report on care, maintain records digitally/with IT
  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • Good understanding of best practice in residential care and of person's rights & protection
  • Legal right to work in Ireland; Garda clearance required
  • Respect, empathy, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and in a team

Working hours & Salary:
  • Various hours and contracts: Permanent, Part-Time, and Relief
  • Shift work over a period of 7 days a week
  • Salary: Dependent on your qualifications and experience (D.O.E.)
