The Role;

  • Maintain patient/resident confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist residents with all activities of daily living.
  • Conduct assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate social work programs for residents according to professional standards.
  • Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards, utilizing a personalized approach.
  • Communicate and coordinate with residents, staff, and family members to provide the best possible care.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and work collaboratively as part of the team.
  • Keep accurate records of assessments, interventions, and communications related to residents.
Required Degree;
  • A relevant qualification at Level 7 or higher in Social Care or hold a CORU registration under the Social Care Worker division.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies in Social Care.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Care.
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Care.
