Director of Nursing, Cork city

Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurse Managers for the role of Director of Nursing for a Cork city nursing home. This home is part of a nursing home group, renowned for their high standard of person centred care and opportunities for career advancement. You will be joining an existing management team with established executive leadership support.

Previous relevant aged care experience at a senior level is essential. Excellent remuneration package reflective of experience is offered for the right candidate.

To be considered for the role, the following selection criteria will apply:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Nursing Management position in Care of the elderly (within the last 6 years).
• Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum)
• Currently registered with NMBI
• Proven track record of clinical, leadership and people skills
• Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations and the 'HEALTH ACT 2007'
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Proven track record in decision-making ability
• Qualification in Gerontology is desirable
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
