Job Description
Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant for elderly care settings in the Cork area.
Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job:
- To provide high standard services as specified in agreed care plans and to contribute to the continual review of resident's needs.
- Assisting the nurse in the provision of quality nursing service.
- Contribute to the movement and treatment of residents to maximise their physical comfort and quality of life.
- Assist the residents with ADLs, mobility and at mealtime where necessary.
- Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control measures.
Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job:
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a large team.
- A minimum of 2 QQI modules in healthcare.
- Eligible to work in Ireland - Hold EU passport or IRP ( 1G, 2 or 4)
- Good written and spoken English.
