Head of Social Care, residential services

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional for the role of Head of Social Care.

Due to our client's rapid expansion across Dublin and surrounding counties, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior leadership role with an organisation focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care for children and young people in mainstream and intellectual disability residential settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership, development and governance of service delivery, thereby shaping the strategic direction of the organisation.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply:

• A recognised degree in Social Care or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within children’s residential care services at management level (House Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager)
• Experience working within both mainstream and intellectual disability services.
• Strong understanding of HIQA standards, the Child Care Act, and safeguarding frameworks.
• Proven leadership, team-building, and service development skills.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own transport (role will involve regional travel).
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
