Our client an established Hospital in Dublin wishes to recruit an Assistant Director of Nursing. The ADON will be overseeing the Wards/Daycare & ICU, you will be working alongside another ADON. This is an exciting opportunity to get your foot in the door of a reputable hospital.


* Have at least 7 years recent relevant post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
* Have a minimum of 2 years experience at Clinical Nurse Manager level
* Have or be willing to undertake a relevant Master's Degree Programme
* Must be registered with the NMBI & have full work permits
* Must be working in a Hospital at the moment here in Ireland or similar
* Communication skills
* Organisational & interpersonal skills
* Up to date knowledge in clinical practice
* Management qualification or willing to undertake same
* Possess well-developed leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Computer skills.
* Must have excellent patient care to a high standard
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
* Have the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
