Pharmacy Technician

An independent pharmacy in Killarney, Co. Kerry is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established, community-focused pharmacy with a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and support patients with queries
• Assist the Pharmacist in the accurate and efficient preparation of prescriptions
• Operate in line with current PSI regulations and best practices
• Manage dispensary stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock
• Monitor expiry dates and flag shortages proactively to the team

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a community pharmacy
• Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-centred approach
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
• IPU qualification or equivalent is desirable
