Are you a Mental Health Nurse looking to take your career Down Under?
Cpl Healthcare is currently seeking experienced Mental Health Nurses for exciting opportunities with our client in Melbourne, Australia.
Our client is a leading public hospital group and one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, serving a vibrant, diverse, and rapidly growing population of nearly one million residents in Melbourne’s western suburbs. With over 12,500 staff, they deliver more than Apply occasions of care each year.
They offer a broad, integrated range of clinical services across multiple sites, including:
- Mental health and wellbeing services
- Acute and tertiary care (emergency, ICU, medical, and surgical services)
- Subacute care
- Onsite and virtual ambulatory clinics
These vacancies are within the Mental Health Nursing Pool, where staff rotate across all Mental Health Units instead of being assigned to just one. This offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings and see the full range of services provided.
You’ll work with individuals experiencing conditions such as:
- Anxiety disorders
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression and mood disorders
- Personality disorders
- Psychosis and schizophrenia
- Dual diagnosis (mental health and substance use issues)
- Patients at risk of harm to themselves or others
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Nursing or General Nursing with a Postgraduate Qualification in Mental Health
- AHPRA registration (or in progress)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Mental Health Nursing role
Please note: Applicants with only a General Nursing qualification and mental health experience will not be considered.
