Support Pharmacist - Point of Care

Excel Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Support Pharmacist on behalf of our client, Point of Care Health Services Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-focused, quality-driven healthcare provider delivering unique pharmacy services directly to patients in the community.

Location: Rathcoole, Dublin

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Permanent

Duties of the Support Pharmacist:

Operate the dispensary in accordance with all legal and PSI licensing requirements.

Maintain the highest professional standards and compliance with regulations, codes of conduct, and professional guidelines.

Support the pharmacy team in delivering a range of home care and dispensing programmes, including:

Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy

Orphan drug dispensing

TPN services

Retail pharmacy services

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing information to healthcare professionals and patients.

Plan and schedule pharmacy services and outpatient programmes.

Manage cold chain compliance and GDP standards.

Maintain accurate stock control and documentation in line with best practice.

Support Pharmacist must:

Be registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).

Ideally have 1-2 years' experience in the Irish healthcare system.

Demonstrate strong clinical skills and attention to detail.

Have excellent time management and organisational skills.

Be patient-focused with strong communication abilities.
