HCA Team Leader

Our client a great company in North Dublin is hiring a HCA Team Leader to join their Team.
Team Leaders will be highly trained and provide Service Users on a day-today basis, supporting the individual to plan and direct their lives, providing support in line with Alpine Healthcare's mission, vision, and values.
Newly hired Team Leaders will work in collaboration with colleagues the Homecare Service Manager and Care Coordinator to foster a high standard of service and care.
Responsibilities:
* You will be required to work flexibly on a rota basis to meet the needs of the service and be available to do on call
* Ensure work is recorded accurately and appropriately in compliance with the company requirements and that records made, and personal information used are in compliance with the Data Protection Act and the standards of information governance.
* NB This job description is not exhaustive and there may be times you will be required to undertake other duties in order to meet the needs of the people living in the home or the service.
Other Duties:
* Work in a way that meets the statutory requirements of employees under health and safety at work.
* Adhere to the staff handbook.
* At all times work within current legislation.
* Ensure to be involved actively into supervision and appraisal of staff.
* Provide information on payroll for staff.
* Be the link person between the staff, Service Users and Management.
* Follow the company policies and procedures.
* Manage Staff & SU Risk appropriately.
* Management of PPE
* Be involved in Management of Staff and SU.
Qualifications / Experience
* Has or is working towards achieving QQI level 6 or has Management Experience.
* Experience of working with vulnerable people
* Experience of leading a shift
* Experience of working with people with disability &/Or Older Persons.
* Knowledge Understanding of:
Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, the needs of Adults with Learning Disabilities, Current
Legislation relating to Adults with Learning Disabilities, Person Centred Planning Skills/Qualities * Flexible
