Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) - Roscommon

Clarity is currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for a well-established nursing home based in Co. Roscommon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to step into or progress within a leadership role in the Care of the Older Person sector.

The ideal candidate must be/have:

Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

A minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience, ideally in care of the elderly services

Minimum of 2 years' experience working at CNM level or similar leadership role

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and support care staff

In-depth knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and healthcare regulations

Proven track record of achieving compliance in a similar setting

Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to continuous learning

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage clinical governance and promote best practice in patient care

Strong IT and documentation skills

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents

Supporting the Person in Charge in all aspects of clinical and operational management

Ensuring full compliance with HIQA and all relevant regulations

Monitoring care plans and ensuring resident safety, dignity, and well-being

Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives

Supporting training, development, and supervision of nursing and care staff

Promoting a positive, resident-centred culture within the home

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
