Job Description
Emergency Medicine Consultant
University Hospital Limerick
University Hospital Limerick is seeking a Consultant in Emergency Medicine.
Model 4 teaching hospital with a strong multidisciplinary team and modern clinical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients
Supervise and support NCHDs and ED staff
Collaborate with Consultant colleagues to ensure effective service delivery
Contribute to clinical governance, training, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
Relevant experience at Consultant or equivalent level in Emergency Medicine (2+ years)
Salary:
€226,681 - €277,736 per annum
Work permit provided
