Staff Nurse - Endoscopy

Akeso Healthsearch is proud to partner with a leading private hospital in Dublin to recruit a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Nurse . This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected clinical team and provide high-quality care in a modern and fast-paced Endoscopy Unit.

Requirements:

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration

Minimum 1 year of experience in Endoscopy in Ireland, the UK or EU (essential)

Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team

Eligibility to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or EU citizenship required) - sponsorship is not available

Your Responsibilities:

Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures including gastroscopies, colonoscopies and bronchoscopies

Prepare patients pre-procedure and monitor them post-procedure

Assist consultants during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures

Ensure the safe handling and care of endoscopic equipment

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection prevention and control protocols

Adhere to all hospital clinical policies and health and safety standards
