Supervising Pharmacist

Supervising Pharmacist - Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with all legal and professional requirements, including the Pharmacy Act 2007 & 2008.
• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient dispensing procedures are followed at all times.
• Lead, mentor and support pharmacy staff, creating a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Maintain a high standard of record keeping and hygiene in line with regulatory expectations.
• Take the lead in overseeing monthly claims submissions for HSE schemes including DPS, LTI and GMS-ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Champion best practices in health and safety throughout the pharmacy.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Previous experience in a supervising or senior pharmacy role preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and foster a supportive atmosphere.
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-based setting.
