Grade: Band 5 £38,744 - £44,918 - BAR - £46,152 - £49,970 per annum.

The States of Guernsey is seeking a Team Leader for the Autism Hub within Adult Community Services.

This Band 5 role offers a competitive salary, annual bonuses, and a relocation package for those moving to the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Responsibilities include leading a team, developing care programs, and supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities across various settings.

KEY CRITERIA

 • Registered Health or Social Care Professional e.g. Nurse, Speech and Language Therapist, OT, Registered Behavior Technician or Social Worker
OR Degree in health and social care plus proven experience of supporting people with a learning disability and autism.

• Good IT skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• To hold a valid driving licence (this may be negotiated with the manager dependant on area.)
• Caring and empathetic nature.
• Autism knowledge and/or experience desirable
• A good understanding of learning disabilities
• An understanding of person centred care and support
• An understanding of positive behavioural support.
