Job Description
ENT Consultant
University Hospital Waterford
Salary: €231,215 to €277,736.
Working week: 37 hours.
Annual leave: 30 working days per year.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver full range of ENT clinical services, excluding complex head & neck oncology, paediatrics, and neurotology/skull base surgery.
Participate in service planning and Clinical Directorate activities.
Participate in on-call rota.
Supervise and manage Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs).
Engage in audit, risk management, and performance review.
Contribute to staff selection and training.
Support clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.
Comply with hospital policies and Disciplinary Procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be registered as a Specialist with the Medical Council of Ireland's Specialist Division Register
