Dispensary Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician / Dispensary Manager to take on a key leadership role within a busy, well-established independent pharmacy in County Offaly. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and an attractive KPI-related bonus.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the dispensary, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all aspects of workflow, stock, and compliance. You will work alongside a team of two to three Pharmacy Technicians and a couple of Pharmacists in a busy but well-structured and safety-focused dispensary setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the dispensary
• Take full ownership of the claims process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Manage ordering and stock control, maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Coordinate and support dispensary staff, providing guidance and oversight where needed
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Deliver on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with an associated bonus structure

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician, with at least 3+ years' experience in a dispensary role
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of the HSE claims system and stock control processes
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• A team player with a proactive and responsible approach to work
