The Role:

Successful candidate's duties will include preparation, dispensing and supplying of medicines according to the regulations and processes in Ireland and will work with other healthcare professionals.

The Ideal Candidate:

* You will be customer-focused, reliable and have strong interpersonal skills working as both part of a team and on your own depending requirements, liaising with a range of healthcare professionals.

* You must have dispensary experience (working with the Irish medicine's system) demonstrating familiarity with the dispensing process, stock management and understanding the PCRS/GMS requirements. It is not a requirement that candidates have the Irish Pharmacy Technician Qualification or an equivalent but instead we would be in a position to support someone willing to undertake the pharmacy technician's course*, which would be paid for by the pharmacy.(*Subject to meeting the basic entry requirements of the course).


* Experience in computer dispensary systems but full training will be given including on our dispensing robot.

* You will have attention to detail and strong customer service skills and be able to assist keep the pharmacy in good standards of presentation and organisation.

* Fluency in the English language is a minimum requirement.

* Be based in Galway city or its commute environs, otherwise, relocation is required
